The KidFic Archive
One of the fastest-growing genres of Stargate fanfiction is the "kidfic", which primarily consists of a young Daniel Jackson being cared for by an adult Jack O'Neill. As the genre has expanded, Little Danny has had other guardians and other members of the team have found themselves "littled" as well. Sometimes, it is an adult Daniel who has the responsibility of caring for a down-sized team member!

Today, the definition of a what constitutes a "Little" includes stories about the characters' original childhoods, adult characters who have been turned into children by some means or another, adult characters who have been reduced to the mental and emotional capacity of children, and even child-sized clones of adult characters. The kidfic genre is even a part of canon, in a way, as the seventh season episode "Fragile Balance" introduced a rogue Asgard's creation of a teenaged clone of Jack O'Neill.

The SG-1 LittleVerse hosts the works of 27 authors out of 300 members. A total of 513 reviews have been written about the 239 stories listed here, which are a combined 542 chapters and 1480265 words. The newest member to join the LittleVerse is sg1nuts.

Thanks for stopping by and happy reading!

Two New Classifications
by Cleo on Oct 19, 2008 - 09:23 pm

I've added two new classifications to the "genres" selection menu: Baby 'Fic and Teen 'Fic. For example, stories involving Jack's clone from "Fragile Balance" would be classified under the "Aware Jack" sub-category, but could additionally be flagged with "Clone 'Fic" and "Teen 'Fic" genre tags.

Passwords
by Cleo on Oct 14, 2008 - 01:05 am

Due to the apparently high number of passwords being lost in the mail, I've adjusted site settings to allow new users to enter their own passwords at registration.

All users should consider adding admin [at] littleverse [dot] com to their email address books or white lists, in order to better chances of correctly receiving story and review alerts.

Any users who have registered for the site but NOT received a password, please email me at cleothemuse [at] gmail [dot] com, and I'll get you taken care of as quickly as possible.

Say Goodbye to Missing Characters!
by Cleo on Sep 29, 2008 - 01:03 pm

Get tired of seeing those little boxes and/or question marks whenever you upload your carefully-formatted story to the site? Say goodbye to them! I've tweaked the coding to allow you to write clichés and façades and other über-cool words without the accented letters disappearing! Furthermore, the mysterious “smart quotes” issue is no longer an ‘issue’.

Please note that while this fixes any stories "going forward", stories which have had such errors previously will still have them!
